Ethan Nelson is the author of the blog compassion without condition.
Pursuing an undergraduate degree at Washburn University in psychology and English, Ethan hopes to later earn a Master’s in psychology. In his sophomore year at Washburn, Ethan placed third out of six finalists in the 2019 Fall Nall Speak-Off; he spoke about cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). He has also been published in Washburn’s academic journal, The Angle, in 2019. In addition, Ethan has volunteered since January 2020 as a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line (which is included as a general resource on this site). Ethan is a lifelong Kansas resident.
